Forehead Lines
Horizontal Lines on the forehead are caused by repeated wrinkling of the forehead while making common expressions communicating surprise, agreement/empathy, and other emotions. An 'untroubled brows' is universally thought to be a good thing and the removal of horizontal forehead lines is one of the most commonly requested treatment.
The muscle treated for horizontal lines on the forehead is the frontalis muscle. Although the forehead is a comparatively large area, the BOTOX® diffusies readilly through the forehead tissue, and so fewer injection sites are required than might be expected.
Combination Treatments
As with treatment of glabellar lines, it is possible that BTx-A therapy can be combined to good effect with Dermal Fillers in the treatment of horizontal forehead lines, especially in those clients with deeper lines that are more difficult to treat.
